Put each company's quote in a separate column and keep the job description the same across all columns. The worksheet is designed to reveal differences in scope before you decide whether a total is cheaper.
Download the moving quote worksheet CSV. Enter the figures from each quote in its own column.

Use an agreed inventory version
참24's quote guidance names load, crew, vehicle size, access and moving date among the cost factors. Give each company the same information for those fields. If the load changes, update the inventory and ask for the relevant quote to be revised before comparing it again.
You can attach the inventory worksheet to the request. Keep your own working copy and share only the details the provider needs.
Do not compare a visit that is missing
KGB Deluxe Golden includes a second-day helper. If another quote ends on moving day, write that difference in the visits row. Decide whether you need the extra work before treating the totals as competing prices for the same service.
Use the same approach for empty-home cleaning and appliance installation. A blank price is not zero. Request a price for any required work that is missing from a quote.
Use the quote comparison guide to compare totals after matching the work included. Keep the accepted version with the contract and save any written changes afterward.
Complete the scope before entering a comparison total
Start with the common job in the load, date and access rows. Then copy each provider's included work into its own column. Keep a separately priced task visible even if a different company will perform it. Do not hide installation or cleaning charges inside a note attached to the transport price.
Consider two hypothetical quotes without assigning market prices. Quote A ends with placement on moving day. Quote B includes a next-day helper. Write those differences in the visits and cleaning rows first. If you need the helper, add the actual price of an equivalent appointment to A's overall plan. If you do not need that visit, request a package that matches the work you intend to buy.
The comparison total should represent required work that has actually been priced. A missing figure stays unpriced in the working sheet. It becomes a number only when the provider gives the amount. Record whether tax is included as stated on the quote, and keep payment stages beside the accepted total so the budget also shows when money is due.
Keep changes visible after choosing a company
Save the accepted sheet with the quotation it summarizes. The worksheet helps compare documents; it does not replace the company's agreement. If the arrival address, inventory or date changes, request the revised work and price and update the corresponding rows.
Keep the earlier version in a separate file rather than silently changing the number without its supporting document. A short change note can identify the item added, the appointment moved or the new access arrangement. Share the final scope with the household contact receiving the crew.
After the move, match invoices and separately booked services to the same rows. Where work remains outstanding, record the named task and next appointment. This makes the sheet useful through completion: it begins as a comparison of offers and ends as a clear account of the work the household booked and received.
