Summersville is a small city, which initially seemed both an advantage and a challenge. On the positive side, it’s peaceful and the community is friendly. Neighbors were quick to welcome me, and there’s a palpable sense of togetherness here. It's certainly less hectic than larger cities, which means a quieter, more relaxed lifestyle. I can actually hear the birds chirping in the mornings instead of the blaring horns and city noise I'm used to.
The natural beauty surrounding Summersville is a definite highlight. With Summersville Lake nearby, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, boating, and fishing.
