Reviews
I've recently moved to Methuen Town, Massachusetts, and so far, my experience has been a mixed bag. At 53 years old and working as a Digital Marketing Specialist, I've found the town to be fairly conducive for remote work, thanks to decent internet connectivity. The peaceful, suburban atmosphere has been a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The community is generally friendly, and there are plenty of local amenities, including parks and supermarkets. However, I’ve noticed a lack of entertainment options and cultural activities, which can be limiting. Public transportation could also use some improvement; relying on a car seems almost mandatory.
Housing costs are relatively reasonable compared to nearby cities, which is a plus. On the downside, dining options are somewhat limited, particularly for more diverse cuisines. Overall, Methuen Town offers a balanced, if slightly quiet, lifestyle. It’s a decent place to live, particularly if you value tranquility and don't mind driving for more vibrant entertainment.
