Reviews
I've recently relocated to Gambier village in Ohio for work, and it's been an interesting transition. At 26 and working as a Real Estate Management Specialist, I find Gambier peaceful and quite charming. The village has a quaint, small-town vibe that seems straight out of a storybook. Kenyon College, the heart of the village, adds a youthful energy to the area, which I appreciate. The local community is friendly, albeit small, and there are some nice cafes and eateries.
However, the pace here is significantly slower than what I'm used to, and the limited amenities can be a bit challenging. For someone in real estate, the market here is quite unique—mostly catering to college-related housing, which isn't my usual focus. The serenity and natural beauty do provide a nice backdrop for relaxation after work, though.
On the downside, the lack of nightlife and entertainment options means trips to nearby cities for a broader social scene. Overall, Gambier is endearing but might demand some adjustment for those accustomed to a more dynamic lifestyle.
